Magaluf Stag & Hen Entertainment

Majorca Waterparks are on the menu around Magaluf, and perfect entertainment for Stag and Hen Parties. Check out Aquapark Magaluf, a waterpark which offers a whole range of water rides, big and small. There's a new ride here called Tornado, aptly named as you're powered by water through a circular tube, the idea being you move like a tornado.

Of the big rides choose from Boomerang where you get catapulted down one almost vertical waterslide slope in a two person dingy ring, then thrown up another opposite, urr like doing a giant V. At least you can do this one with a friend or partner. Hurtle down the Kamikaze slide and god knows how many miles an hour, have a race with your mates on the multi-lane slide or surf the upto 1 metre high waves on surf beach. The park itself is a very good size, and well equipped with ample parking facilities, toilets and lots of food outlets and a cafeteria area.

Opening hours are seasonal, from May 3rd to October 9th 2004, with gates opening May, June, September and October from 10 am to 5 pm. July and August, 10 am to 6 pm. Check the waterpark website for price details.

Carretera Cala Figuera - 07182 La Porrasa, Magalluf (Mallorca), Tel: 971 130 811. For Public Transport, take the Catalina Marqués bus lines 2 and 10 stop opposite the Park on their way to Palma, and also from Palma to Santa Ponsa and Peguera. The Park is located only 5 minutes away from Palma Nova-Magaluf and 10 minutes from Santa Ponsa, Parguera and Palma.

Magaluf Night Life

Both Magaluf and Palma Nova sit firming within the Med dance tour firmament, perfect for stag and hen clubbing!

It's not just the music, sunshine, glorious sandy beaches and watersports that attract such a large number of young people, including stag and hens, to Magalluf, it's also the fact that this Majorca resort is great value for money! Check out and the delectable for all the information you'll need on the best bars, clubs and entertainment in Magaluf. Well worth checking on the scene before you head out, rather than grappling around when you get there. (weblinks to the right!)

Eating out is easy in Magaluf, with cheap being the key word, and meals only setting you back about £12. Many of the bars serve snacks American style, and these bars stay open til 7am in the morning. All your recognisable favourites are there as well for quick grabs, including Macdonalds and Burger King. You can find a good range here though, contrary to perceptions there's a good mix of Spanish and English traditional food.

Magaluf means party time, bars and clubs open all night - you can literally dance the night away, fun times, sunbathing and water sports, people watching and a superb range of entertainment including Western Waterpark, the rather unusual but popular Pirates show, and paintballing and go-karting to name a few!

Magaluf Nightclubs

Check out BCM Magaluf, Planet Dance, a hotspot club in Magaluf. Frequented by the likes of DJFubar (check link to right), BCM has an impressive 10,000 watts of sound and 400,000 watts of lighting systems. There's five screens showcasing dazzling laser shows and 16 "cannons" dispense party paraphernalia such as balloons, wet stuff and the like, eek. The building has no internal pillars, allowing plenty of space, while its incredibly high ceiling gives clubbers the feeling of being outside under the stars. A team of dancers get the party moving, supported by some of the world's best DJs as they tour the Med. BCM Planet Dance, Avda S'olivera, s/n, Magaluf, Spain, 07182, Tel: +34 971 132 715

There's some ace tourist info sites on Magaluf out there already (see links to the right), so for detailed club info check with them. There's a real working together of the clubs and bars out there. People seem to look out for each other. The result is things like the relatively new club pass - the MCP Magaluf Club Pass. This gives you entrance to the five big clubs including Boomerangs, Bananna Club (watch out for Hed Kandi here!), the classic 60s, 70s & 80s venue Carwash, Fusion and Tokio Joes. With the Magaluf Club pass when you pay admission to any of these five clubs you get your first drink free, plus you'll get stamped and it'll give you unlimited admission to any of the five clubs. Takes out a lot of hassle!

Magaluf Bars and Restaurants

Highly recommended by the magaluf uncovered site is Ness Beach Club right on the Magaluf beach stretch. Laid back, great food, and a superb venue for getting in the party mood with great DJs spinning tunes in the background, and an enormous terrace from which to watch the world go by. The venue has it's own website, all in Spanish, rather nice looking DJs. Tel - +34 619 46 06 97 to make a reservation.

Want ya Sunday Roast? Get down to 42nd Street then, opposite the Sling Shot, can't miss it apparently. 42nd Street is a family run bar/restaurant with a friendly very English atmosphere, and food served is mostly traditional English, with various Chef specials each day.
